The DZOFilm Arles 50mm is a normal prime lens for full-frame and Vista Vision cinematography. This ARRI PL version combines a sharp, modern optical design with the warmer color and softer bokeh associated with classic cinema lenses.
The aperture adjusts from T1.4 to T22. Its optical construction uses 13 elements in 9 groups, paired with a 16-blade diaphragm for soft, natural bokeh. A 46.5 mm image circle provides full-frame and Vista Vision coverage.
Close focusing to 0.5 m allows a mid close-up without a diopter. Imperial focus scales and 270° of manual focus travel support focus adjustment, while the aperture ring rotates through 80°.
