The SmallRig 6026 Advanced Cage Kit gives Sony a7 V, a7R V, and a7 IV shooters a protective cage and dual-handle setup for handheld filming and low-angle shots. The kit brings together a cage, top handle, side handle, and HDMI cable clamp, with mounting options for expanding the camera setup.
Silicone cushioning on the side handle provides a comfortable, steady grip, while the top handle helps guide smooth camera movements at low angles. A contoured, hinged battery door adds support for the little finger to improve comfort during longer handheld sessions.
Three-point locking uses a bottom screw and two side locating blocks to secure the camera. Protective silicone padding helps prevent scratches, and precisely placed openings keep the camera's ports, dials, buttons, and battery compartment accessible without removing the cage.
- - Accessory mounting: Multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes provide attachment points for monitors, microphones, lights, magic arms, and other rig accessories.
- - HawkLock quick release: The patented, self-locking NATO rail supports one-press attachment of compatible accessories to speed setup changes. Compatible HawkLock accessories include SmallRig side handle 4485, top handle 4483, and monitor mount 4487.
- - Additional connections: A built-in cold shoe accommodates accessories such as the DJI Mic 2 or a light. A QD socket at the base and strap slots provide attachment options for shoulder straps.
The integrated Arca-Swiss plate lets you move between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups without changing the cage. It works with Arca-type tripods and compatible DJI stabilizers, including RS2 / RSC2 / RS3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS4 Mini / RS 4 Pro / RS 5.
- - Cable security: The included HDMI cable clamp holds the cable connection in place to support stable data transmission.
- Onboard tool: A magnetic Allen wrench stored in the base is available for assembly and disassembly.
Installation notes: After tightening the base 1/4"-20 screw, take the anti-twist locating pins out of their storage hole at the battery compartment and secure them in the designated position. Open the camera's HDMI port cover before installing the HDMI cable clamp.
