Designed for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II, the SmallRig 4975B Black Mamba cage combines streamlined, ergonomic full-body protection with accessory mounting options. Its open design keeps the camera’s controls and connections accessible.
A three-point locking system secures the camera with a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and two side locating blocks. Integrated silicone pads help protect the camera from scratches.
- - Accessory mounting: 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, plus ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, provide expansion points. Supported accessories include side handles 2093 and 4346, magic arms 3874 and 3875, monitor mount 2904B, Manfrotto baseplates 1280 and 2458, and L-shaped mounting plate kit MD4360.
- - Top-mounted accessories: ARRI locating holes accommodate top handle 3765, quick release top handle 4483, and monitor mount 2903B. The built-in HawkLock cold shoe provides a mounting point for a microphone or light.
- - Strap options: Standard slots work with wrist straps 3848 and 2456, while a downward-hanging strap slot offers additional lens protection. A QD interface supports quick release shoulder strap 4118.
The integrated HawkLock Arca-Swiss quick release plate allows direct mounting to Arca-type tripods, including models 4060 and 4353, and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 5 stabilizers. This makes it easier to switch between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups.
- - Onboard tool: A magnetic dual-head wrench at the bottom of the cage is available for assembly and disassembly.
Installation note: Remove both side locating blocks before mounting the camera.
