This full-frame E-mount fisheye zoom lens covers 8–14mm, offering circular-to-diagonal fisheye perspectives with a constant F3.5 aperture. Sony identifies it as its first lens of this type, based on a Sony survey as of the September 2026 product announcement.
The lens uses equisolid-angle projection at the wide end and equidistant projection at the telephoto end of its zoom range.
