Voigtlander APO-LANTHAR 50mm f/2.0 Aspherical Lens
The APO-LANTHAR 50mm f/2 Aspherical Lens from Voigtlander is a high-end normal-length M-mount prime and is a member of the prestigious APO-LANTHAR family of optically superior, apochromatic lenses. The apochromatic structure minimizes the on-axis chromatic aberration of the RGB light wavelengths that make up the three fundamental colors of light. To nearly eliminate all aberrations and achieve very high sharpness and color accuracy, a number of anomalous partial dispersion and aspherical elements are used. For precise focusing control, a high precision helicoid is used in conjunction with a manual focus design. Additionally, when using the larger apertures, a 12-blade diaphragm creates a lovely circular bokeh from point light sources.
