14 Day Return Policy
To return a product based upon District Camera's replacement/return guarantee, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number within the guarantee return period for the product (described above). Please contact us by telephone to receive an RMA number. District Camera will not accept returns without prior authorization and a RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 10 days within which return products must be received by District Camera. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customer should prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product.
Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product to District Camera. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear all shipping charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment. Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing, District Camera's Return Procedure will be breached and District Camera will reject the entire return or may choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of the missing component.
District Camera will not refund to Customer the original shipping charges. In addition, District Camera will assess a 15% restocking fee against the Customer's account on all returns for refund.
New Items
All New Items sold by District Camera are Authorized USA Goods, and as such come with the Manufacturers Original USA Warranty. This can range from a minimum of 1YR to More , depending on the Manufacturer.
If you have a claim to make, you can bring your item to one of our stores and our Staff can help facilitate the repair.
Used Items
All Used Cameras and Lenses sold directly by District Camera come with a 100 Day Warranty. There are some items that are not covered by this Warranty (i.e. As Is products or other noted items).
The 100 Day policy covers the Manufacturer terms and covers manufacturer defects only. User misuse or damage is NOT Covered.
Used Film Cameras are tested to be working at time of sale. Issues like Stripped Advance Levers or Punctured Shutter Curtains are User Error and not covered by warranty.
All Used Warranty claims are subject to District Camera Review and we reserve the right to deny Warranty on any Item.
Price Match Policy
We do not offer direct price matching, however, we do allow you to submit lower prices to us for review via our website. If your price match request is approved, we will honor the price you submitted.
Price Protection Policy
Price changes are central to electronics retail on the web. The more aggressive the pricing, the more frequent the price changes occur as we actively seek out new pricing information from the manufacturers. This is especially true with products such as cameras, lenses, camcorders, and related products such as memory cards. At this time, we do not have a price protection guarantee and we do not offer credit for price changes that have occurred after your order has been shipped.
Non-Returnable Items
Batteries, Chargers, Memory Cards, Lens Filters, Tripods, Mics, Studio Equipment (Lighting, Background and Supports), Perishable
items (Film, Paper etc), Bulbs, Drones are not returnable.
