The AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G from Nikon is a 52.5mm-equivalent lens for DX-format cameras, and is distinguished by its svelte form factor, typical field of view, and bright f/1.8 maximum aperture. It is almost as adaptable as a prime lens can be. The quick construction of the lens is ideal for working in challenging lighting situations and also offers greater depth of field control for focusing selectively and isolating subjects. One aspherical element is included in the optical design, which aids in reducing distortion and spherical aberrations to give a significant level of sharpness and clarity. 

Additionally, each element has been given a Super Integrated Coating, which reduces lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy when working in backlit or bright environments.
