Create advanced triggering setups all from your smartphone or tablet with this Triggertrap MD3-N3 Mobile Kit, available here with a cable for working with Canon and Kodak cameras featuring the Canon N3 connection. This system allows users to quickly and easily connect their cameras to their smart device and work directly with the Triggertrap App for iOS or Android. It offers a variety of different sensor triggering options, such as sound and vibration, time lapse modes, HDR imaging capabilities, and standard cable release settings.
Sensor modes allow the Triggertrap to set off your camera with an event, such as a noise, vibration, motion, or facial recognition. HDR settings are possible with long exposures as well as time lapse. Time lapse settings offer a variety of advanced controls for ramping and accelerating capture. And, it has cable release for your standard triggering options.
On top of these features, the app has a Solar Calculator for determining the sunrise and sunset in your area as well as an ND Filter Calculator for ensuring you use the right strength filter for your exposure. Additionally, one device can be set over Wi-Fi as a master unit and can trigger slaves simultaneously. Wearables, such as the Apple Watch and Android Wear devices, can also now be used to set off the trigger of the camera.

- Sound Sensor: Activates on clap, whistle, tap, or other loud noises
- Vibration Sensor: Vibrations and earthquakes (iOS version only)
- Motion Sensor: Detects movement (iOS version only)
- Peekaboo: Facial recognition triggering (iOS version only)
HDR Modes
- LE HDR: Long exposure HDR sets with up to 19 separate exposures
- LE HDR Time Lapse: Create time lapses with HDR exposure sets
Time Lapse Modes
- Time Lapse: Capture images over a designated period of time
- TimeWarp: Time lapse setting with acceleration over time
- DistanceLapse: Create images over a distance, such as during a road trip
- Star Trail: Offers exposure control for time lapse to capture star trails at night
- Bramping: Bulb ramping time lapse for smooth exposures
Cable Release Modes
- Simple Cable Release: Press to activate shutter
- Quick Release: Hold button down and activate shutter upon release
- Press and Hold: Press and hold for duration of exposure
- Press and Lock: Press once to activate exposure and press again to end
- Timed Release: Choose length of exposure and press button to activate
- Self Timer: Set a delay before activation of the shutter after pressing the button
