Great news for videographers
For videographers, Nikon offers full HD video with enhanced definition and reduced noise, even at higher ISO. Moire patterns are said to be minimal, as are jaggies and false colors. You can simultaneously record uncompressed and compressed FUll HD 1080 footage at 60/50/30/25/24p. There is an integrated, built-in stereo microphone and outlets for external audio.
Solid construction, great features
The camera's optical pentaprism viewfinder offers nearly 100% coverage, and the camera is built of a Carbon Fiber/Magnesium Alloy hybrid material. It is also sealed against rain and dust, and has a dual SD-card slot.
Manual ISO , shutter speed and aperture can be changed during exposure. Highlight display with zebra stripes can be used to confirm exposure. Flat Picture Control allows for easier color grading in post production.
The 3.2-inch, 1,229k dot resolution LCD monitor is tiltable for high and low angle photography using Live View mode. The camera offers RGBW alignment and color balance customization, making it easier to use with an external monitor.
