Both a Flash and Transmitter
With its integrated 2.4 GHz transceiver, you can use the FJ80-SE on-camera as both a flash and transmitter. Control FJ400 and FJ200 strobes, FJ-XR receivers, and off-camera FJ80 speedlights devices directly from the hot shoe. When mounted off-camera, the FJ80-SE acts as a client speedlight. Trigger via an on-camera mounted FJ80, FJ-X3, or FJ-X2 Wireless Triggers.
The FJ80-SE M is also compatible with Canon RT devices, including 600 EX-RT, 430 EX-RT, and EL-1.

With the FJ80-SE speedlight, you get the most accurate color temperature stability at 6500K (±200K) across its entire 9-stop output range in flash increments of either 0.1 or 1.0 stops. Mount the FJ80 off-camera via the cold shoe or use the included shoe stand to make it free-standing. The shoe stand is equipped with a 1/4”-20 female thread for mounting to most light stands with no additional hardware required. Pair with a FJ80 Speedlight Insert (#2544) for use with the Rapid Box Switch line of portable softboxes.
